The One-Hit Wonder Store

                      

I just ran across this new retail concepts as I was reading the latest BIZChops Magazine. {Summer 2008} BizChops usually features some terrific opportunities such as, "Make Billions Overnight On The Internet", and other similar totally legitimate opportunities. Once in awhile, rags like this, profile legitimate franchise opportunities that cost more than $125 US to get in on. The One-Hit Wonder Store is one of them.

From their website:

"The One-Hit Wonder Store is a unique opportunity to enter the exciting music industry. As you know, companies like Apple are making minor inroads into how consumers are getting their music. While the ipod is currently popular, we predict that consumers will start migrating back to the more traditional record stores. We also feel that consumers will once again start purchasing record players.
{Record players are machines that use diamond tipped needles to transmit electronic code that is imprinted on round vinyl discs containing music.} 

We feel that the time is now to jump into our franchise concept. The pool of  nostalgic and traditional music lovers, who will be introducing their way of listening to music to their teenage kids, is massive. We predict that these kids, once they start purchasing these vinyl discs, will abandon their ipod devices.
{Of course they will send them to recycling bins...not throw them in the trash!}   

To further distinguish our stores from other ones, We are only offering records {vinyl discs} that have one song on them. The record inventory will feature older one hit wonders like Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit In The Sky, to more modern and influential groups like the Baha Men, who did "Who Let The Dogs Out." 

The stores will range in size from 2,000-2,750 square feet, and feature a snack bar, and even an ipod recycling station, for added convenience!

The total investment is another great feature of this new concept. It ranges from only $475,000 to $550,000 Total investment! Wow! That is really a bargain, in this day and age."

There is something out of this world about a guy who lives in Silicon Valley, says there is only a minor market share to Apple through the iPod, and doesn't have a website. Gotta love it lol
